EXO is an immersive, interactive experience featuring a speculative exobiological organism. It's a science-fiction being used to simulate an encounter with an extraterrestrial creature, hypothesizing the development of life in the universe and exploring the limits of possibility in the field of astrobiology.

 

Originating from the exoplanet Corot-7b, 520 light-years from Earth, EXO is a multifaceted hive organism, the product of evolution on a super-Earth with extreme temperatures, a high concentration of silicates, and an exotic silicon-based biochemistry. Organized with swarm intelligence, the various beings that make up EXO respond with choreographed light, sound, and movement displays to external threats, feeding, or simply leisure.
