Heidi Valda aka Heidacraft, a visual artist born in Bolivia in 1986, designs and produces installations, shows and audiovisual works conceived both on and off the screen, based on the investigation of light emitters of different types and characteristics, which vary between projectors, led strips up to bioluminescent dyes.

The exploration of the image begins in his first formal study, graphic design and visual communication in his native country Bolivia, which allows his first approaches with the image, its distortion and manipulation. In a self-taught way, she explores animation in real time (Visual Jockey) where the projection formats vary from mountains to naked bodies, and is presented with a visual spectacle in different events of small and large format. Among the most prominent, the festival "Universe parallelo" (Brazil), "Kiebre" (Bolivia), "Samhain" (Bolivia) "Poblenou Open Night" (Barcelona) and many others around Latin America and Spain.

From 2014, 2016 and 2019 it is part of "The Long Night of Museums" in "La Paz - Bolivia", presenting works that are characterized by being multidisciplinary forming teams where acrobatics, art of pakour and technology generate a synergy that is characterized by movement and the versatility of tools that are not natively designed for high acrobatics.

In 2017 he studied a master's degree in 3D animation in the city of Barcelona Spain at Pompeu Fabra University, allowing him to understand the three-dimensional and cinematographic language of animation, the art of movement, on the margin of these studies the animated short film “Delirium bailanti” is produced recognized work around the world.

A year later, he culminates the master's degree in “Audiovisual Innovation and Interactive Environments” Barcelona Spain, where he emphasizes his study in the new technologies of interactivity and develops new pieces that allow him to explore the international festival MUTEK Barcelona (2019), Poblenou One Night (2019 and 2021) and the SONAR + D (2019 and 2021), Visual Brasil (2019) Barcelona and many more.

Since the beginning of his professional and self-taught career he has organized festivals of alternative culture, and has exhibited his work on different platforms, with the intention of leading the viewer to sharpen, delight and re-educate the sense of sight. “THE EYE DOES NOT SEE WHAT IT DOES NOT KNOW”

The exploration of the image begins in his first formal studies, graphic design and visual communication in his native country Bolivia, which allows him his first approaches with the image, its distortion and manipulation.


He is a self-taught artist who explores real-time animation (Visual Jockey), where projection formats range from mountains to nude bodies, and presents visual performances at various small and large-scale events. Among the most notable are the "Universo Paralelo" festival (Brazil) and "Poblenou Open Night" (Barcelona).

From 2014 to 2016, it was part of the long night of museums in La Paz-Bolivia, presenting works that are characterized by being multidisciplinary, forming teams where acrobatics, visual experimentation and technology generate a synergy that is characterized by movement and the versatility of tools.

In 2017 and 2018 he studied a master's degree in 3D animation in the city of Barcelona, Spain, at Pompeu Fabra University, allowing him to understand the three-dimensional and cinematic language of animation and the art of storytelling.

Within the scope of these studies, the animated short film "Delirium danzanti" was produced, a work recognized around the world.

In 2018 and 2019, he completed a master's degree in "Audiovisual Innovation and Interactive Environments" in Barcelona, Spain, where he emphasized his studies in new interactive technologies and developed new pieces that allowed him to showcase his work on platforms such as the international festivals MUTEKes Barcelona (2019), Sonar+D Festival (2019 and 2021), Poblenou Open Night (2019 and 2021), Visual Brasil (2019) Barcelona, among others.
