INSANIA
Instalación interactiva lumínico-sonora que, por medio de la materialización de un autómata, renuncia al placer musical noise, al protagonismo del operador, y reinterpreta la imagen haciendo alusión a su estado errante glitch. Apuesta por lo roto, lo quebrado, el estado mental donde las líneas entre lo real y lo imaginario no existen y que ha sido llamado “locura”. Un acto mágico, un viaje onírico, una conexión entre la carnalidad mundana y la trascendencia de la conciencia, la expansión abrupta del espacio simbólico… por rotura…
La sinrazón como fundamento último de la razón.
Al entrar en ella se hace evidente cómo SER/ESTAR modifica los parámetros de la EXISTENCIA y la CREACIÓN. El participante, introduciendo el error, crea caos y una ruptura de patrones de comunicación entre los módulos del dispositivo en interacción con el público. Así se genera una aberración en el AV y en las expectativas del participante, lo que ABRE un nuevo campo simbólico de orden superior.

INSANIA
An interactive light-sound installation that, through the materialization of an automaton, renounces the musical pleasure of noise, the protagonism of the operator, and reinterprets the image by alluding to its errant glitch state. It focuses on the broken, the fractured, the mental state where the lines between reality and imagination no longer exist, which has been called "madness." A magical act, a dreamlike journey, a connection between mundane carnality and the transcendence of consciousness, the abrupt expansion of symbolic space... through rupture...
Unreason as the ultimate foundation of reason.
Upon entering it, it becomes evident how BEING/BEING modifies the parameters of EXISTENCE and CREATION. The participant, by introducing error, creates chaos and a disruption of communication patterns between the device's modules in interaction with the audience. This generates an aberration in the AV and in the participant's expectations, which OPENS a new, higher-order symbolic field.

Insania apuesta por lo roto, la grieta que habita en el (in)consciente. Es la ruptura, la línea que une lo real y lo imaginario. Es un proceso íntimo, profundo, desgarrador, violento, dulce y delicado. Insania es lo humano.
La instalación existe en constante mutación. La máquina opera con un cuerpo que interfiere en ella con dispositivos que proyectan luz. La luz en movimiento orgánico proyecta rayos luminosos que, por medio de la fotocelda, generan una sinfonía de ruido.
El cuerpo se presenta ante la máquina desde la extimidad: juega, se regocija, llora, ríe y la erotiza activando y desactivando los dispositivos a través de una moción (in)humana. Este vínculo genera un lenguaje propio, una comunicación monstruosa de ruidos y destellos entre la humanidad mecanizada en el cuerpo y la humanidad aplicada a la máquina. Insania se materializa como motor constructor de un rito que pretende iluminar los recovecos aparentemente invisibles de la mente.

Insania focuses on the broken, the crack that dwells in the (un)conscious. It is the rupture, the line that unites the real and the imaginary. It is an intimate, profound, heartbreaking, violent, sweet, and delicate process. Insania is the human.
The installation exists in constant mutation. The machine operates with a body that interferes with it with devices that project light. The light, in organic movement, projects luminous rays that, through the photocell, generate a symphony of noise.
The body presents itself to the machine from extimacy: it plays, rejoices, cries, laughs, and eroticizes it by activating and deactivating the devices through an (in)human motion. This bond generates its own language, a monstrous communication of noises and flashes between the mechanized humanity in the body and the humanity applied to the machine. Insania materializes as the constructive engine of a ritual that seeks to illuminate the seemingly invisible recesses of the mind.

Pensar en la luz como punto de fuga remite al acto de aceptar el espacio temporal de nuestro subconsciente como el eje asimétrico de esta extraña topología del ser. Porque la locura, entendida no como enfermedad sino como fractura de la percepción habitual del mundo, revela destellos breves, intangibles, de una verdad distinta. No es solo sombra: también es luz, una luz que no se deja mirar de frente. Cuando se rompe la cordura, como se rompe un espejo, no desaparece el reflejo: se multiplica. Y en esa fractura, la luz se fuga. Es una especie de revelación cruda: como si, al romperse la estructura lógica, se hiciera posible ver lo que antes estaba más allá del alcance de nuestra mirada. Esta luz también es belleza, es hablar del límite, de lo que se filtra cuando la mente deja de obedecer.
En Insania, hablar en código luminiscente implica entrar en convergencia con aquellos espacios oscuros de nuestra mente. Es por eso por lo que queremos plegar nuestro subconsciente desarrollando una propuesta performática en la que dos artistas lumínicos dialogan con la obra creando una composición sinestésica en vivo. Durante quince minutos, los artistas enviarán frecuencias de luz a las fotoceldas de las piezas, mientras que ellas se manifestarán en torno al ruido. Generando un dispositivo vivo, invitamos a las personas a experimentar una nueva forma de percibir, de sumergirse en este observatorio sonoro, y a tener la oportunidad de abrazar su propia insanidad.

Thinking of light as a vanishing point refers to the act of accepting the temporal space of our subconscious as the asymmetrical axis of this strange topology of being. Because madness, understood not as an illness but as a fracture of the habitual perception of the world, reveals brief, intangible glimpses of a different truth. It is not just a shadow: it is also light, a light that cannot be looked at head-on. When sanity is shattered, like a mirror, the reflection does not disappear: it multiplies. And in that fracture, the light escapes. It is a kind of stark revelation: as if, by shattering the logical structure, it becomes possible to see what was previously beyond the reach of our gaze. This light is also beauty; it speaks of limits, of what leaks out when the mind ceases to obey.
In Insania, speaking in luminescent code implies entering into convergence with those dark spaces of our mind. That's why we want to bend our subconscious by developing a performance proposal in which two light artists engage with the work, creating a live synesthetic composition. For fifteen minutes, the artists will send light frequencies to the pieces' photocells, while they will manifest around the noise. By generating a living device, we invite people to experience a new way of perceiving, to immerse themselves in this sonic observatory, and to have the opportunity to embrace their own insanity.
